Thanks to,everyone who came to celebrate the Hansen Library’s 40th anniversary as a library district. We had such a great time visiting with old friends and meeting new ones. Don’t forget that the benefit of being a library district is that anyone who lives within the district(we share boundaries with the Hansen school district) can get a free library card. Just bring in a piece of mail to verify your address and a form of identification.

The Hansen Library is open from 1 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Don’t forget that Summer Reading is from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday through July 1. This week we are focusing on plants and apatosaurus.

Come see the rock the kids at the Hansen Library summer reading program painted when you are here Monday (June 1) for our open house (5:30 to 7 p.m). Play Book Bingo at 5:45 and 6:15 p.m., enjoy cake and cookies.

The Hansen Library Foundation and Trustees are holding an open house on Monday, June 1 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. to celebrate the library district’s 40th anniversary. Stop by for cake and cookies along with book bingo at 5:45 and 6:15 p.m. Register for a book basket and see what’s new at the library. This event is open to all in the community. If you don’t already have a library card, we’ll be happy to help you get one.

The dinosaurs are coming!!! Stop by the Library before June 6th to do the Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt and earn a treat. There is no age limit to participate.
