YMCA Center for Civic Engagement is currently looking for a new Assistant Director for all CCE programming.

The CCE Assistant Director Position is full-time hybrid position with benefits. Responsibilities include volunteer leadership and development, volunteer and program retention, social media management, and philanthropy. Meet the Candidate: Saura, Malden

With everything going on in the world currently, it has never been more important for us to have leaders that have "people" in their leadership model. Having been in the program all throughout my high school career, I recognize what the program requires for us to be able to reach our greatest heights as an organization, and that I believe is inclusion and administrative equity. So, as someone that has taken on many roles throughout my years of being in the program, I find myself to be a fit candidate for the role of Governor, and hence, encourage all delegates to vote for me!

PreLeg 3 is in 6 days and we are bringing in another rockstar alumni! Zack Langway will be working with the Youth Leadership on their communication skills.

Zack graduated with a BA in Political Science from Brown University and an MA in Communication from Johns Hopkins University, and serves as an adjunct instructor at Rutgers University and Towson University. Zack lives New Jersey with his husband, Matt, and their son, Samuel.

The first YMCA in the United States was first organized in Boston 170 years ago today.

The Y purchased the old Red Sox field on Huntington Avenue in 1929 and broke ground on a work-study concept for what would become Northeastern University.
