From one town group of seniors to another, the Hanover Council on Aging would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations on your graduation.

We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Nick Spolsino for beautifully refurbishing the teak furniture at the Hanover Council on Aging! The refreshed benches and chairs have helped create a warm and welcoming sitting area at the front of our building, perfectly complementing our backyard patio space. 💙 Can you help—or know someone who can?

The Hanover Council on Aging is looking for Meals on Wheels volunteer drivers, specifically for Thursday morning coverage, as well as substitute drivers to help when needed.

Deliveries take place between 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, with most routes taking about an hour within that timeframe. Mileage reimbursement is provided. 🚗

For some homebound older adults, this delivery is more than just a meal—it’s a friendly face and an important check-in. 😊

✨ Exciting News at the Hanover COA! ✨
We’re thrilled to share that the Hanover Council on Aging has been awarded a $10,737 grant through the Massachusetts Councils on Aging (MCOA) Service Incentive Grants (SIG) program to support our Senior Center Modernization Project this past spring!
Thanks to this funding, we’ve made some amazing upgrades to better serve our community and work is just about completed:

📺 New 85” Smart TV, sound system & presentation equipment
💻 6 laptops to expand technology access
📢 Digital lobby message board for daily schedules & announcements
🌿 Revamped outdoor space featuring:
• Community dining area
• Comfortable lounge seating for 11 with umbrella
• Outdoor heaters & storage
• High-capacity grill for gatherings

These improvements help us create a more welcoming, engaging, and connected space—both inside and out—for all of our members.
💙 We are incredibly grateful to MCOA for making this possible and helping us continue to enhance the experience here at the Hanover COA!

Homeland Security will not call you.

You should immediately hang up.
