This Memorial Day, the Dartmouth Student Veterans proudly planted 554 American flags in front of Dartmouth Hall to commemorate the Dartmouth alumni who made the ultimate sacrifice in combat. Each flag represents an alum who will forever be remembered.

We had a great time at the Ivy League Veterans Council conference; it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with our friends from other schools and hear from employers seeking out veteran talent. Thank you to the Student Veterans of William & Mary for hosting!

A great turnout for our SVA social to kick off the Fall ‘19 term! It was a joy to welcome veterans from Tuck and Geisel to this event and of course the new members of our community who belong to the class of 2023. We’re looking forward to a great year!

Jhon Ortiz '20, a sergeant in New York's National Guard and an ROTC cadet, has received a Meritorious Honor Award from the U.S. Department of State for duties he performed while deployed in Iraq in 2018.
