THIS MORNING AT 2:00 PM!! VIRTUAL: American Revolutionary Painters -- John Singleton Copley

As a portrait painter in Boston during the 1760s, John Singleton Copley took a bipartisan approach to politics, painting both patriots such as Paul Revere and loyalist such as British General Thomas Gage. However, Copley was forced to take sides when the tea was thrown from his father-in-law’s ship during the Boston Tea Party. Explore Copley’s portraits done in both America over twenty years and in England over the remaining forty years of his life. Led by art historian Martha Chiarchiaro, owner of Seeing History.

NEXT MONDAY NIGHT AT 7:00 PM!! VIRTUAL: In Conversation with Romance Author L.C. Chu, "The Library of Flowers"

We had so much fun chatting with Lily last time, we just had to have her back! This time, we're focusing on her first women's fiction title (written under L.C. Chu), The Library of Flowers. It's a story of a family of Chinese witches who can change emotions through perfume and an exploration of relationships, identity, and the expectations we inherit. Sounds fascinating! And, of course, we'll delve into all of Lily's writing and books because how can we not?! We hope you can join us for this fun conversation! It'll be a rapid fire Q&A so bring your Q's!
