📚A paw-some afternoon at Greenbrook Elementary!🐾

Students in the Sock and Story Society Club had an unforgettable experience meeting children’s author Tom Watson, creator of the beloved “Stick Dog” and “Stick Cat” series (stickdogbooks.com).🐶🐱

From asking thoughtful questions to learning about the drawing process—including how he brings his characters to life—our young readers were inspired every step of the way, with plenty of ensthusiasm and tails wagging!✍️💡

Some lucky students even got to take home their very own copy of “Stick Dog,” making the day even more memorable and keeping the excitement for reading going at home!📖❤️

Thank you, Tom, for bringing stories to life and sparking creativity in our students!

Last week, our Early Childhood Center students received some very special surprises! We hosted several Mystery Readers in our classrooms, and the kids were thrilled to see some of their own parents and administrators throughout the district walk through the door to share a favorite story.

Thank you so much to all of our amazing volunteers for making reading so much fun and creating such wonderful memories for our littlest learners!
