VILLAGE OF HANNA CITY AGGREGATION UPDATE

Dear Hanna City Resident,

The Village of Hanna City Board has voted not to renew the electric aggregation program for village residents this year.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU:
If you do nothing: Your service will automatically revert to your default supplier, Ameren, at the end of your current term.
If you choose: You may independently pursue aggregation options through other providers or programs available in your area.
You should receive additional details from your current supplier soon, outlining your specific options and timelines.

LOOKING AHEAD:
The VOHC Board may reconsider this decision in future years if market conditions and program parameters prove beneficial for Hanna City residents.

to submit your TIF or BDD Grant applications.
Don't miss the April 30th Deadline!

Ready to Apply?
1. Print and complete your TIF or BDD Grant application.
• Not sure which Grant District your home/business is in? Maps and applications are available at hannacityil.com under the Economic Development tab.
2. Gather and include two quotes for the project.
3. Include "before" photos of the project. Preferably one up close and one further away to show its location.

Get ready for the Curbside Clean-up on May 4th, 2026! This is your opportunity to dispose of bulky items like old furniture, mattresses, and scrap construction materials. Make sure to have your items at the curb by 6:00 a.m. for collection!

Good morning residents,
We’re loving this warm weather, but we aren't loving the unpermitted peddlers in town.
Please keep in mind that we always post on our page and Village App when we have approved permits so residents are aware.
What to do if you encounter an unpermitted peddler:
1. Ask for their permit. We instruct all approved peddlers to keep it with them.
2. If they cannot produce a permit:
• Option A: Politely tell them to go to Village Hall to obtain a permit.
• Option B: If you encounter problems with a peddler in any way, you can call the Peoria County Sheriff’s non-emergency line: (309) 697-8515.
We also encourage you to reach out to the Village with the company name and license plate number if you can.
