Friends of the Hanford Police K-9 Unit The Hanford Police K-9 Unit consists of one canine named "Dodger" who is a 4 year old English Springer Spaniel trained for the detection of illegal narcotics.

The Hanford Police Department K-9 Unit was established in Feburary of 2012 to assist in the apprehension of suspects and detection of illegal narcotics to ensure a safe and drug free community for the citizens of Hanford.
