Thank you to everyone who joined us for WUPPDR’s Annual Meeting in Copper Harbor! Our annual meeting is an opportunity to come together with governments, community partners, and stakeholders to reflect on the past year and look ahead to 2027.

We’re grateful for the collaborations that make this work possible. From economic development to housing, materials management, food systems, hazard mitigation, and more, WUPPDR is proud to support communities across the region.

Congratulations to Bob Nousiainen as this year's Oreste “Chip” Chiantello Service Award recipient for exemplifying qualities of service, dedication and leadership across the Western U.P. region. We also want to thank Julia Petersen for her presentation on the Keweenaw Heartlands Project.
