The City of Hanceville is excited to announce the Hanceville America 250 Community Celebration!

Join us Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at C.W. Day Park as we come together to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.

We’re planning a full day of food, vendors, music, family activities, and community fun, ending with a fireworks show at approximately 8:45 PM.

More details will be shared soon, including vendor information, parking, and the event layout.

The City of Hanceville is now accepting applications for the position of City Clerk.

This is a professional administrative and municipal records position responsible for supporting the Mayor and City Council, preparing agendas and minutes, maintaining official City records, assisting with public notices, municipal election documentation, budget records, and other City Hall administrative duties.

Application Period:
June 1, 2026 – June 11, 2026

Deadline to Apply:
Applications must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

This year's Grilled Cheese Festival will be rescheduled due to weather. Stay tuned for the date once the weather pattern stabilizes. This new payment option is available for city services, permits, and other applicable payments to help make transactions more convenient for our citizens.

Please note: a small processing fee may apply to card transactions.

🌧️ CANCELLED: Food Truck Night

Due to the heavy rain overnight and current parking conditions at the park, tonight’s Food Truck Night at Tucker Park is canceled.

Safety and accessibility are our top priorities, and the grounds are just too soggy for a good time!
