Bridge Academy-East Our Mission- To promote lifelong learning by nurturing academic excellence, positive character, and

Bridge Academy opened to students in 2004 in Hamtramck, Michigan. Hamtramck is a culturally diverse community, embracing many races and ways of life, which makes it the perfect setting for a GEE Academy. The school serves students pre-k through 8th grade and adheres to all mandates and regulations passed down from the Michigan Department of Education. The school prides itself on a strong character

education program and has an excellent group of certified teachers, a curriculum that exceeds Michigan standards, a family-like environment, and a strong ESL/ELL department to assist newcomers. Bridge Academy provides Arabic as a foreign language to students of all levels, a full-day kindergarten, and requires students to follow a dress code. Transportation in the morning and afternoon for siblings of Bridge students who attend the Riverside Early Childhood Center is provided.

Good evening, parents and families,

Congratulations to all of our students who participated in the Eastern Michigan University Math Facts Challenge! We are proud to share that Bridge Academy East earned 2nd Place Overall in the competition.

Our students worked incredibly hard, demonstrated perseverance, and represented our school with excellence. They should be very proud of their accomplishments and dedication.

A special thank you goes to Ms. Riddell, Mr. Robbins, Mrs. Yax, and Ms. Mayberry, who generously gave their time during their vacation to support our students and ensure they had the opportunity to participate in this wonderful event.

We are proud of all of our participants and grateful for the commitment of our staff who continue to go above and beyond for our students.

Congratulations to all of the participants in this year’s GEE Arabic Spelling Bee 🐝!

We are proud to share that Bridge Academy East brought home 3 first-place trophies 🏆 and 2 second-place trophies 🥈. This accomplishment reflects the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of our students and teachers.

Mrs. Lulijeta has dedicated the last 20 years to serving the Bridge Academy community with passion, commitment, and excellence. This week, she was honored by the Michigan Association of Bilingual Educators (MABE) as one of the Top 5 candidates in the state for MLL Teacher of the Year.

Thank you for your countless years of hard work, dedication, and impact on our students and families. Your commitment to multilingual learners and our community does not go unnoticed. While this recognition is statewide, you will always be #1 to Bridge Academy.
