Annual Meeting of the
West Yadkin Fire District

Notice is hereby given to all taxpayers and residents of the West Yadkin Fire District that the West Yadkin Volunteer Fire Department will hold its Annual Meeting on:

Date: May 11
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: West Yadkin VFD Station 18

The purpose of this meeting will be to conduct the election of three (3) members to serve on the Board of Directors for a term of three (3) years, along with any other business that may properly come before the board.

All taxpayers and residents of the district are encouraged to attend and participate.

Expect mostly sunny skies for most of this Mother's Day 2026. Clouds will increase in the mountains later this afternoon with scattered showers and storms possible after 3pm. A warm Mother's Day with highs in the 70s in the mountains to lower to mid 80s in the foothills/Piedmont.
