🚨 IMPORTANT TRASH COLLECTION UPDATE 🚨
Due to Maryland’s Heat Illness Prevention Standard, Hughes Trash Service summer collections begin at 4:00 AM.

This earlier start time is required by the State regulations to protect workers during extreme heat and is in effect between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

📦 Please place your items curbside the night before your scheduled collection day. Thank you for your cooperation!

📆 Town Offices will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.

🚛 Please note that the landfill will also be closed, and all trash services will be delayed a day next week. Yard waste will be picked up on Tuesday. If Tuesday is your regular trash pickup day, it will be picked up on Wednesday. If Wednesday is your regular trash pickup day, it will be picked up on Thursday.

Hampstead Day is TOMORROW, Saturday, May 16th. During this event, Main Street will be closed to traffic between the intersections of Route 482/Fairmount Road and Houcksville Road/Lower Beckleysville Road. Please plan accordingly if you need to get through town.
