Wow! What a fun way to end Teacher Appreciation Week! Today our staff was treated to delicious Mexican food! We even had a special delivery from one of our amazing Wallace families! (Thank you to Mrs. Olivia and Mrs. Jeanette Garza for the delicious food for our staff to enjoy!) We ended the week by having a Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament! It got pretty feisty but congrats to Ms Gintzler! (Mr. Doug, our AMAZING custodian put up a fight!) She won the $25 Amazon gift card!

We are so appreciative of our entire staff. The work and dedication you give to our students and their families goes above and beyond. You have made this year a blast! We are so grateful for everything you do!

Today we started saying goodbye to three of our Wallace family members. It was a sad day but also gave us the opportunity to show our love, appreciation and gratitude to three of our favorite people! We had a potluck, gave each of them gifts and had a parade in their honor!

Today was our custodian, Mr. Billy’s last day. The kids showed him so much love and appreciation for all he has done the last two years.

Next week is the last week for two of our recess aides, Mrs. Garcia and Miss Crissy. The kids are so broken-hearted but it just shows what amazing relationships our staff has built with our students.

We are going to miss all three of them dearly and we hope they know they are always welcome at Wallace! They are Bobcats for life!!!

What a FUNDAY MONDAY!!!! To HYPE up and encourage our 3-6 grade Bobcats for state testing we had a class color competition, parade and a kickball tournament!

It was such a fun afternoon! Our PreK-2 Bobcats made signs and cheered on our older Bobcats! We then got to parade around our building outside enjoying the great weather and our 6th graders ended the day by winning the kickball tournament!

Kickball results:
1st place- 6th grade
2nd place- 4th Grade
3rd place- 5th grade
4th place- 3rd grade

Also, congrats to 5th grade for winning the class color competition!!!
