Irving Elementary Teachers and Staff dedicated two days of summer break to train for PLTW!

We are excited that we are going to be providing an amazing STEM education to ALL students at Irving Elementary starting in the 26/27 school year.

FREE breakfast and lunch are available for all children 18 and under at participating School City of Hammond locations. πŸ₯› πŸ‰ πŸ“š No paperwork is necessary.

Can you believe that we are in our last week of school?!?!

Students in grades K-5 will be bringing home a summer work packet to keep their skills sharp over the summer... please encourage your child to work on it and complete it over the summer.
We will have a mid summer check in on Tuesday July July 7 from 10-12 at Irving Park! If students bring their packet and show Mrs. Ruiz that they have been working on it, she will give them a treat.

Students can return them completed the first week of school and get another treat then!

So look for the packet to be coming home tomorrow.

Due to forecasted thunderstorms and rain on Tuesday, we are making the decision now to change to our rain date of Friday, May 22nd. We hope all of our volunteers can join us on the new date. If you still want to sign up to help run a station activity, send us a message. Remember, you must have a background check on file in order to join in on the fun.
