The North Star Schoolhouse and History Center is interested in acquiring vintage memorabilia from past small town businesses, such as this nostalgic mug from Bob's, a store that holds many fond memories for locals. We invite you to a presentation at the North Star Schoolhouse and History Center this Tuesday, 1/6, at 7pm, where a local intern will share their experience transcribing letters from the 1800s on a local family and the captivating history they learned.

Grab your family and friends, and join us on December 13th for a festive celebration with exciting holiday events! First, visit our History Center for our annual old-fashioned Christmastime celebration. We will have Christmas treats, warm cider and cocoa, cookie decorating, and crafts for children from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. In the spirit of giving, we will be taking non-perishable food donations for Life Solutions. Afterwards, proceed to the Christmas market at the Hamlin town park for a fun-filled afternoon of shopping, food, wagon rides, a holiday light trail, and a tree lighting ceremony from 3-6 p.m.

As everyone starts their spring cleaning, please keep us in mind! We welcome antiques, local historical finds, and any family history of Hamlin locals for our history museum. Hoping for the communities help.
These beautiful drums were found in the attic of the History center. We have no idea who may have donated them or when but they have been up there for many years. We would love to learn who owned them and the History on them. They are in wonderful condition. The name "Roby's" is written in them.
