Meet Scottie, a 6 month old Lab retriever mix obtained recently by the Division of Fire, from the Butler co. Animal Humane Society. Scottie, is learning basic obedience now and after that will be trained to be an Accelerant Detection Dog / Arson K9.
Scottie, is named in remembrance of our Fallen Firefighter Scott Bruggeman.

The Butler County Sheriff's Office is looking for lateral entry and entry level dispatchers to work in the county's regional dispatch center. Full-time dispatchers current starting wage is $15.56 an hour with contractual step increases up to $24.22 an hour. The starting wage for lateral entry hires will be based on the level of experience, including the type, duration, training and certifications.
