🎡 Butler County Fair 2026 🎡

As another Butler County Fair comes to a close, we'd like to thank everyone who stopped to visit with the Butler County Sheriff's Office Mounted Patrol. It was a wonderful week filled with conversations, smiles, and opportunities to connect with our community.

From patrolling the fairgrounds to meeting fairgoers of all ages, we are proud to serve and help make this annual tradition a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.
A special thank you to our volunteers, deputies, and our incredible horses for all of their hard work throughout the week. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

Please join us in welcoming our newest Special Duty member, Gadsby, to the Butler County Sheriff's Office Mounted Patrol!
Today, Special Duty Gadsby was officially sworn in by Sheriff Richard K. Jones, marking the beginning of a new chapter of service to Butler County.
We are excited to welcome Gadsby to our Mounted Patrol family and look forward to serving our community together. Thank you for your commitment, dedication, and willingness to volunteer your time in support of the Butler County Sheriff's Office.

What a great day at Respect for Law Camp! The Butler County Sheriff's Office Mounted Patrol enjoyed spending time with the campers, introducing them to our horses, answering questions, and sharing what it's like to serve our community.
Seeing the excitement on the campers' faces as they interacted with the horses and learned about different areas of law enforcement made the day special. Thank you for inviting us to be part of such a wonderful program.

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Patrol was honored to be invited to participate in the Oxford Car Show. Our riders and horses enjoyed spending the day interacting with the community.

One of the highlights of the day was seeing the smiles on people's faces as they met our horses and learned more about the Mounted Patrol Unit.

Thank you to the event organizers for the invitation and to everyone who stopped by to visit with us.

🇺🇸 2026 Memorial Day Parade – Hamilton, Ohio 🇺🇸
The Butler County Sheriff's Office Mounted Patrol was honored to participate in today's Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony.
As we gathered to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, we were proud to stand alongside our community in tribute to our nation's fallen heroes.

It was an honor to be a part of this ceremony and stand alongside all participating departments. The Mounted Patrol is honored to participate in this event each year in remembrance of the fallen officers who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The horses were out enjoying the community today, making new friends —when suddenly, the Easter Bunny showed up! We’re not saying the horses were expecting him, but they were definitely hoping he brought carrots instead of candy
