2026 Fallen Officer Ceremony

It was an honor to be a part of this ceremony and stand alongside all participating departments. The Mounted Patrol is honored to participate in this event each year in remembrance of the fallen officers who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The horses were out enjoying the community today, making new friends —when suddenly, the Easter Bunny showed up! We’re not saying the horses were expecting him, but they were definitely hoping he brought carrots instead of candy

Our Mounted Unit spent the day sharpening skills with formation and crowd control training. These exercises help build strong communication between our riders and horses while preparing us to safely and effectively manage large events and public gatherings. Great teamwork all around—both two-legged and four-legged! 🐴💪

Join us for this Friday night's Halloween Spooktacular!! Meet our SWAT, Bomb Unit, Corrections, Mounted Patrol, Emergency Response Services (ERS) and More!! Enjoy some Hot Chocolate and Face Painting for the kids!! We will also have a free bike giveaway to 3 lucky kids (Thanks to Walmart on Main) Lots and Lots of free candy and some spooky music!!! A safe way to trick or treat!! Come on out to 705 Hanover St. in Hamilton!! We'll see you there!!

We will have lots of candy and we are giving away some bikes too, thanks to Walmart on Main!! Face painting for the kids!! We'll see you there!!
