Fresh Southern Peaches!

The late frost hit Alabama’s peach crop hard this year, but thankfully, farmers in nearby states are helping keep fresh Southern peaches available. Two options below.

Early Freestone Peaches
The first freestones of the season. Pull them apart in your hand. Easy to slice and great for cobblers, freezing, and fresh eating.

Sweet Cling Peaches
Juicy, flavorful, and some of the best-tasting peaches we’ve had this season.

This should be popping up everywhere in our area.... Self Heal (Prunella vulgaris) is a low-growing wild mint with dense purple flower spikes that’s been used as a folk medicine for cuts, sore throats, and just about everything else for centuries.
