Please see attached memo from Chief Kirkendoll regarding an upcoming training exercise taking place on Monday, September 21st, 2026 at Penney High School.

As stated, there is NO active threats toward our community or schools, this is merely an opportunity for many local agencies to work together through a simulation to strengthen their skills.

Ameren has corrected the issue at S Colby and E School.

Edit at 9:08am:
Please avoid the area of S Colby and E School Streets as there is a limb hanging over power lines.

There is a large tree down at 8th and Burrus. Our Police Department and Public Works team are out this morning clearing streets from the storm damage. Please avoid the areas as the work to remove the debris.

It's time for our 2nd annual POOL PARTY with the POLICE!!!

Free Swim ALL DAY on August 5th. The Hamilton Police Department will be out from 4pm to 7pm grilling hotdogs and giving away prizes.
