This is the result of a driver refusing to stop for a deputy. The pursuit ended when the vehicle crashed, and the driver decided to continue the bad decision-making by fleeing on foot.

The suspect was quickly apprehended in the immediate vicinity with the assistance of the Georgia State Patrol.

Running from law enforcement doesn't make problems disappear—it usually just adds more charges and more consequences.

Thankfully, no one was injured during this incident, and the suspect was taken into custody without further incident. đźš”

Over the last few weeks, we’ve noticed that many mailboxes throughout the county are not clearly marked with address numbers.

While it may seem like a small detail, clearly visible address numbers can make a critical difference when first responders are trying to locate a residence during an emergency. Every second counts when deputies, firefighters, or EMS personnel are responding to a call for service.

Please take a moment to ensure your mailbox or residence is properly marked with visible address numbers that can be easily seen from the roadway, both during the day and at night.

A clearly marked address could help us find you faster when you need us most!
