Rich Kanka led the national movement to protect our children from convicted predators. After the tragic death of their daughter Megan, Rich and Maureen Kanka worked with Congressman Dick Zimmer and President Bill Clinton to pass Megan's Law. The Kan
ka family channeled the outpouring of support they received into a campaign to make all of our children safer. Born and raised and raised in Hamilton, he's a hardworking trade union member with Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 9. Rich was elected to the Hamilton Board of Education, where he helped balance the budget without raising taxes or cutting essential educatonal programs. Rich has also served as a volunteer firefighter with the Groveville Dist. 9 Fire Company and as a coach for the Hamilton Girls Softball Association. Rich and Maureen now run the Megan Nicole Kanka Foundation, which educates the nation about the dangers of s*x offenders. Rich Kanka believes the solutions to our problems lies in rolling up our sleeves and getting to work. For Assembly: Wayne Wittman
Wayne Wittman is the experienced local leader who will fight for us in Trenton. A devoted public servant, Wayne will get New Jersey moving again as our Assemblyman. As Mayor, Wayne led the wy on cutting government red tape to create hundreds of local jobs through sound commercial development. He fought to end wasteful spending with common-sense solutions and bipartisan cooperation. Wayne helped to preserve over 1,000 acres of farmland and open space parkland. As an advocate of efficient government, Wayne negotiated a shared service agreement with Plainsboro that saved taxpayers from having to construct a new municipal court. Wayne has worked for Public Service Electric and Gas for the past 31 years as a scientific researcher. He holds three U.S Patents and serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Energy Systems Engineering Institute as Lehigh University. He volunteered for 19 years with the local Cub Scout Pack and Boy Scout Troop. Wayne and his wife of 33 years, Joaan, reside in Cranbury with their three children. As a councilwoman in Robbinsville, Sheree has focused on economic development along Rt. 130 & 33. Her efforts to cut red-tape and make Robbinsville a more business-friendly community helped bring jobs to town, even in an economic downturn. Sheree believes in providing every child with the best educational opportunities, which is why she worked to make sure taxpayer dollars, were used effectively in the classroom. A small business owner, Sheree knows what it takes to budget responsibly and make ends meet. She runs a business that create jobs and keeps our neighbors working.
