Our Delaware County 4-H delegates spent another busy morning in the Capital today. They walked the empire plaza, sat in and learned from the staff and judges of the third division of the Appellate Court, met and shared their 4-H experience with Assemblyman Tague and his chief of staff, heard an inspirational closing message from a 4-H Capital Days Alum who now serves in the Dept of Ag and Markets and encouraged our teens to speak up and take action now because leadership means demonstrating care for your community big and small. It was a great trip! We are glad to be back in Delaware County and encourage all youth (especially our Delco 4-H teens) to keep up your record books so that you can apply for amazing opportunities such as this in the fall.
Thank you Neleh and Mayla for representing Delaware County 4-H and to everyone on the planning team, speakers, participants, chaperones, sponsors etc., for making this event possible!
