Is this your boat? Do you know whose boat this is? If you answered yes to either, we have your boat and would love to return it. Contact central dispatch and they can give you information on its current whereabouts.

And before we get 27 messages and a smoke signal, yes we tried looking the owner up via reg number. We were not successful, so now we’re here.

🚨 LOST & FOUND🚨

Well, it happened again. We’re starting to think our station is secretly transmitting a "free treats and belly rubs" signal, because we have another four-legged visitor.

While we love the company, we're pretty sure someone is missing this sweet pup. Here are the deets:

Found At: The corner of Country Club Drive and Elmhill Drive.

Fashion Choices: Sporting a very stylish, multi-colored blue and orange collar.

Current Status: Lounging, currently unauthorized to drive the big trucks, definately not the patrol car, and we aren't positive but we don't think they've qualified with any of our equipment but they are trying to convince us that a third breakfast is standard protocol.

⏰ The Clock is Ticking:

We can only host this shift-partner for about one hour from the time of this post. After that, they will be hitching a ride to the Livingston County Animal Shelter, where they'll be safe and sound until you can pick them up.

If this is your furry escape artist, please move fast and come claim them, or contact the shelter to reunite!

Please share to help us spread the word quickly! 🐾🚒

Stop Everything! We Have a Furry New Recruit (Sort Of)

It’s not every day that the firehouse gets a new applicant, especially one who doesn't know how to hold a hose and has absolutely zero interest in our mandatory physical fitness training.

Earlier today, a very distinguished, very golden, and very lost Golden Retriever decided that the local fire station was the ultimate destination for his afternoon stroll. He sauntered right through the bay doors, inspected the engine, tried to charm the crew out of their lunch, and eventually curled up for a nap like he owned the place. We tried to ask for his credentials, but he just offered us a very enthusiastic tail wag and a soggy tennis ball.

While he was an excellent addition to the shift for a few hours, but the boss said we can’t keep him.

Our friends at the Hamburg Police Department stopped by to pick up our new four-legged friend. He has been safely transported to the Livingston County Animal Shelter, where he is currently waiting for his owners to come claim their adventurous pup.

Identifying Marks:

Breed: Very Good Boy (Golden Retriever)
Special Gear: He is wearing an orange GPS collar.

If this happens to be your adventurous companion, please head over to the Livingston County Animal Shelter to bring him home! We’re sure he’s had a big day, and he’s ready for a reunion—or at least a very long nap in his own bed.

People in other trades/crafts often tease firefighters for the amount of time and energy we put into cleaning our trucks.

When Hamburg Fire, Inc. was established, they believed in being good stewards of the citizens dollar. We still believe that today. Tax dollars go into funding trucks and equipment, buildings and personnel. It’s our privilege to maintain it all.

Judging by this ‘41 Ford that was the first fire truck in Hamburg, I’d say we’re doing just that.

If you’re around tomorrow, it will be in the Hamburg Village Memorial Day Parade in the morning under its own power.

Hard to believe that truck is almost as old as my first Fire Chief. 😂
