The Borough has been notified that the Planned Power Outage scheduled for 6/2 and 6/3/26, has been cancelled.

A cancellation Robocall was activated by MetEd to effected Residents today.

Reschedule date to be determined.

MetEd alerted the Borough of a Planned Power Outage...

Scheduled for:
Tuesday, June 2nd and Wednesday, June 3rd...

From 8:00am to 2:00pm on each day.

If there is bad weather, the outage will be rescheduled.

We believe the outage will be from Pine Street to Island Street, but that has not been confirmed.

MetEd to send out a "robocall" to all residents that may be affected by the outage.

Tuesday, May 19th PA Primary Elections

Polls open at 7:00am / Close at 8:00pm

NOTE: ALL ELECTION POLLS will be LOCATED on the 2nd FLOOR of the Borough Building

The Borough Building has outdoor access to use the Elevator to get to the 2nd floor for those who may need assistance.

There will be DESIGNATED PARKING SPOTS for Election Officials and Voters to utilize.

The DESIGNATED PARKING SPOTS will be marked with the attached signs on Monday May 18th by 3pm.

RESIDENTS on 3rd STREET in front of the BOROUGH BUILDING: Please be aware of the DESIGNATED PARKING SPOT SIGNS and plan alternate parking for Monday night, to avoid receiving a ticket and/or being towed.

I78 is cleared and open in both directions.

Borough traffic has been cleared.

Due to I78 Eastbound being shutdown, traffic through the Borough has increased, especially Tractor Trailers.

Please be patient while we team with County Fire Police, to control the traffic flow until I78 is reopened.
