May is National Mental Health Awareness Month

In 2025 it was reported that nationally over 18% of adults suffer from either depression and/or anxiety and nearly 1 in 10 experienced a significant mental crisis.

Our department is committed to helping those in need of mental health support by sending highly trained officers as well as our partnership with Town of Hamburg Mental Health Clinician Jill Polinski.

We are excited to release a rendering of our 2027 concept Patrol Vehicle.

This vehicle is not only perfect for large events, but is also extremely fuel efficient.

Chief of Police states: "This vehicle represents Hamburg perfectly. Our agency cannot wait to ROLL OUT these vehicles. Lettuce be clear, we feel this car is the future of patrol vehicles."

We are aware this is how many Village Streets appear after the heavy rainfall.

Our DPW is out working diligently to clear the water as best as possible.

For your safety, please try and avoid streets that have not yet drained and if possible, use alternate routes to your destination.
