🔬 Hands-On Learning in Animal Science II! 🔬
Today, our Animal Science II students had a hands-on lab exploring reproductive anatomy and mammalian development.
Students dissected a male ram reproductive tract to identify key anatomical structures. 🐏 Following that, students examined and compared female reproductive tracts from cows, ewes (sheep), and sows (swine)—including gestating tracts. 🐄🐑🐖
Observing these tracts firsthand offers an invaluable, respectful look at anatomy, embryonic development, and reproductive management in livestock. We are grateful for these practical learning experiences that prepare our students for future careers in veterinary medicine, agriculture, and animal husbandry! ⚕️
