C**t and Emma Tubbs are two of 47 students on Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas Youth Tour 2026!

They are representing Ashley-Chicot Electric Cooperative on this week long adventure touring our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. and surrounding areas.

The Youth Tour provides students with the opportunity to learn more about leadership, government, and the cooperative industry!

How cool is this, that they are getting to visit while we are celebrating America’s 250th anniversary! 🇺🇸

Have so much fun, C**t and Emma! We can’t wait to hear all about it! 📸

Congratulations HHS 2026 Senior, Braydi Moffatt!! She placed 20th in the NATION at the National SkillsUSA competition! 🦁💜

UAM-CTC is so proud of Braydi and her accomplishments in SkillsUSA during the state competition in Arkansas and the nationals in Atlanta. Braydi’s sculpture of a guitar won 1st place at the Arkansas competition, making her eligible for Nationals. In Atlanta, Braydi placed 20th in the NATION, placing her in the top 0.006% of the over 300,000 high school welders!

Mr. Dubose, CTC’s high school welding instructor, says that Braydi was, “Very professional and engaged in her competition at Nationals. She represented us well!”

Braydi recently graduated from Hamburg High School and completed one year of concurrent welding at CTC. Congratulations to Braydi and Mr. Dubose for a well-done job!!!
