Facing a terminal illness diagnosis can be daunting and lonely. It is likely that one of your neighbors is battling an overwhelming medical crisis right now, but together, we can provide a solution. Tamarisk offers non medical companionship services free of charge for anyone in our community who has been diagnosed with a terminal illness.
However, to provide that helping hand, we need your support. By the end of the year, we need to raise $5,000 to cover our operating budget to ensure everyone who contacts our organization is helped. We believe that everyone, regardless of their situation should have access to a trained, compassionate volunteer who can walk alongside them in their time of need.
Tamarisk does not receive any government funding and relies solely on private donations from generous individuals and corporate sponsors. With your donation of $25 or more by midnight on November 16th, we can respond to the specific needs of our neighbors and ensure they have access to a vital program that is dedicated to making certain that no one walks alone during their final journey.
