This morning we had the honor and privilege to represent Tarrant County at the 97th Annual Memorial Day Service at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

This annual event represents the Fort Worth and Tarrant County communities commitment to never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

We will honor that sacrifice by treating each day as a gift.

God Bless the men and women who laid down their lives for America. 🇺🇸

On this Memorial Day we pause to honor, remember, and celebrate those who gave their lives so that we may enjoy the freedom and comforts that America has to offer today.

We can never repay the debt we owe to those who made that sacrifice, but how we live each day can ensure that their sacrifice was not in vain.

We honor them by living. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Today, I was proud to lead another productive meeting of the Texas Juvenile Justice Department.

As one of our state’s most critical agencies for public safety, we remain laser-focused on protecting our communities and providing real results in reducing violent crime. With more than 2,000 employees and a $1 billion budget, we are delivering real results in corrections and rehabilitation. And our hardworking employees and partners are setting the standard across the nation.

I am honored that Governor Abbott asked me to serve as Chairman to help lead this outstanding agency. 🇺🇸

Last night, we were honored by the hundreds of Tarrant County residents who attended our campaign fundraiser in Fort Worth. Civic and business leaders from across the community came together to show their support for a stronger, safer, and more responsible North Texas.

It is a privilege to serve, and I’m grateful for the continued support. Results matter far more than rhetoric, and it is results we are delivering.

More than $1.5 billion secured for new infrastructure improvements, drastically enhanced law enforcement recruiting and retention, and lower taxes year after year.

We will keep our foot on the gas and continue winning for our community. 🇺🇸

National Police Week

Each May, we pause to honor the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of America’s law enforcement officers. Established by President John F. Kennedy in 1962, National Police Week includes Peace Officers Memorial Day on May 15.

Police Week is a time of solemn remembrance for those who gave their lives in the line of duty, and a celebration of the brave men and women who continue to serve and protect our communities.
Behind every badge is a story of service, sacrifice, and family.

Behind every name etched into the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund wall is a constellation of lives changed forever—children, parents, siblings, friends, partners—all guardians of a legacy that will never be forgotten.

This week, we honor them and renew our commitment to carry their sacrifice forward.
