This afternoon, we had a wonderful lunch with officers from the Fort Worth Police Department Northwest Division and the Fort Worth City Marshals, hosted by Fort Worth Councilwoman Macy Hill.

It was great to catch up with our brothers and sisters who work tirelessly every day to keep our community safe.

Thank you, Councilwoman Hill, for your incredible support of the brave officers who protect and serve us! I’m proud that our Fort Worth police officers are able to serve in a city where leaders like you have their backs.

TxDOT crews will be installing roadway striping next week, resulting in daytime lane closures and new traffic patterns.

June 15–16 | 8 a.m.–3 p.m.
Various eastbound and westbound lanes of SH 199 between FM 1886/Confederate Parkway and Hodgkins Road will be closed. Expect delays.

🛣️ New Ramp Openings (Weather Permitting)
June 17: Eastbound entrance ramp from FM 1886/Confederate Parkway to SH 199

June 18: Westbound entrance ramp from Surfside Drive to SH 199

June 19: Westbound exit ramp from SH 199 to FM 1886/Confederate Parkway

Please use caution, watch for changing traffic patterns, and give crews room to work safely.

What an incredible day at the 16th annual Tarrant County Transportation Summit!

I was honored to join my friend and incoming Senate Transportation Committee Chairman Senator Tan Parker to discuss our critical work delivering world-class transportation systems for Texans.

We’re proud to have secured more than $1 billion in recent investments for Northwest Tarrant County, and now we’re focused on putting those dollars to work for our communities.

Transportation is a team sport in Texas, and Tarrant County has an outstanding team!
