Manny was recently appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to serve as a member of the Board of Directors for the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. Manny also serves Tarrant County as a member of the Advisory Council for the Salvation Army of North Texas, as a member of the TCU Chancellors Advisory Council, and as the Republican Party Precinct Chairman for Tarrant County Precinct 4371.
