We're kicking off the summer with a free workshop on June 4th with Waste Connections sharing about recycling and our very own Community Health Specialist, Jayson Steele, sharing about the city's Homeless initiatives and how they've played a role in beautifying our community. Be sure to register so we bring enough snacks :)

It is with sadness that we share the news that one of our longtime members of the Beautification Board, Birdi Blocker, has passed away. Birdi served on our Board for over 30 years. She was also in the Haltom City Garden Club for many, many years the Northeast Tarrant Chamber of Commerce, and was Mrs. Clause at Christmas on Broadway. She was a dedicated community volunteer who gave so much of her time and talents to our community. She will be dearly missed. Sending thoughts and prayers to her family and many friends.

So sorry for the delay! The winners of the Neighborhood Decorating Contest are here! There were so many amazing decorations and lights that is was incredibly difficult to pick. We hope you enjoy driving around and checking out all of the awesome lights and holiday decorations - you knocked it out of the park this year, Haltom!

We're here kicking off Texas Arbor Day with a proclamation from our Mayor and presentation of the Tree City USA flag for our 13th consecutive year (but about 25 years total!). Come join in the fun - it's going to be an awesome weekend showcasing our newly renovated North Park! Thanks to the Northeast Tarrant Chamber of Commerce for putting this together.
