The Friends of the Haltom City Public Library Book Sale is back! 📚

Starting today through Saturday, May 16, stop by the Haltom City Public Library to dig through fiction, non-fiction, and everything in between. Books are priced as low as $0.50, and every dollar goes right back into supporting Library programs and services for our community.

There are no library programs this week due to the Friends of the Library’s Book Sale!

Come check out the Book Sale starting Thursday, May 14 at 11 am.

The sale runs through Saturday, May 16 and is from 11-5 every day.

Wow! Everyone has been so generous with their donations for our May Silent Auction. We will be posting a thank you list of our participating sponsors and donating vendors later this week.

Bids are now open and will close on May 16 at 3pm. Be sure to check it out and get your bids in!!

The Friends are having their big annual book sale in May. There is still time to make your tax deductible donation of books, movies, musicm, puzzles, games, posters, paintings and more.
All proceeds benefit the Haltom City Public Library and their many upcoming programs for the community.
Also, after you empty your shelves, please attend the big book sale to replenish those shelves at an amazingly low price.

The Friends would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to the Library Giving Days event. Whether you went online or dropped something in our donation jar, it was equally appreciated. While we did not quite reach our $2500 goal, what we did raise will go a long way towards funding the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program.
The official totals have been closed out, but if you feel a desire
to help, donations can still be made online thru the North Texas Giving Day website, and our donation jar is always on the counter of the circulation desk.

Just some pics from last week's Star Trek party. The Friends and our volunteers often assist with these programs and we have as much fun (sometimes even more) than the kids, as shown by these pics of our ladies running the Klingon Hatchet Throw booth.
We are always looking for volunteers. (Several other things to do as well as hatchet throws, lol.) Come sign up and start having fun with us!!

The Friends of the Haltom City Public Library are having a PoP Up Book Sale today, Dec 18th thru Saturday, Dec 20th at the Haltom City Library, 4809 Haltom Road!!
Paperbacks are $1 and hardbacks are $2.
These would make for some lovely and much appreciated gifts and stocking stuffers, or give someone (or yourself) a reason to cuddle up in front of the fireplace and read for a few hours.
This is a fundraiser and all proceeds go to library needs and programs. Come on by!!
