We would like to thank the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for their continued support and monetary donation to the LCSO. Donations like these help support our growing outreach initiatives, allowing us to serve Lavaca County beyond traditional law enforcement services. The LCSO is grateful for Beta Sigma Phi's support and investment in our community!

🚨 PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT 🚨

The LCSO has received information from credible sources that Mexican cartel operatives are actively seeking to steal trucks to use to smuggle drugs and illegal aliens.

⚠️ This methodology is similar to the criminal conduct that occurred in ’21, when illegal operatives were in full force within Lavaca and surrounding counties.

👮‍♂️ The LCSO will continue to monitor intelligence and other information and shift and apply resources as necessary.

🤝 The LCSO is currently working with the Operation Lone Star Task Force, West Side HIDTA Task Force, the USMS, HSI, ICE, ERO, and the DEA to coordinate proactive enforcement efforts across county lines as a force multiplier to protect and serve the citizens of LC.

🔒 Please be vigilant in securing your vehicles, buildings, and other valuables, and if “You See Something, Say Something.”
