Halifax Borough, Upper Dauphin County is a wealth of great minds with **LOTS of ideas, suggestions and opinions!** 😄

🎒🚌 BACK TO SCHOOL IS HERE! 🚌🎒
The school buses are rolling, the backpacks are packed, and the streets are about to get a whole lot busier! 🚸
As we head back into the school year, please remember to slow down, pay attention, and expect the unexpected. Watch for children crossing the road, students walking and biking, and buses making frequent stops.
🚌 See those flashing red lights? STOP. Give our kids the time and space they need to get safely on and off the bus.
🚗 Leave a little extra time for your commute.
👀 Put the phone down and keep your eyes on the road.
🚸 Watch those intersections and crosswalks.
🚌 Give school buses plenty of room.
A few extra minutes on your commute is a small price to pay for getting our kids safely to school and back home again.
School is back in session—let’s all make safety our first subject! 📚❤️

NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS
Neighbors, community members, local businesses- Halifax Borough has a couple of elderly and/or health challenged residents who need some assistance with property/yard maintenance. Thesewould be one off occurences to help them get back into compliance. If you are willing and able to offer your assistance, please let us know so we can connect you with the appropriate property owners.
