Fresh produce, local vendors, handmade goods, and community connections are waiting for you at the Halfmoon Farmer's Market! 🍅🥕🥬🫜🥦❤️

Join us this Wednesday, June 17, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Abele Park on Harris Road for an afternoon of fresh food, baked goods, locally made items, and friendly faces.

🇺🇸 Today, the Town of Halfmoon proudly recognizes Flag Day.

On June 14, we honor the adoption of the Stars and Stripes and reflect on all our flag represents: freedom, unity, sacrifice, and the enduring spirit of our nation.

From homes and businesses to our parks, schools, and public spaces, the American flag remains a powerful symbol of the values we share and the generations who have defended them.

The Town of Halfmoon encourages residents to proudly fly the flag today and join us in honoring this cherished symbol of our country.

Great recognition for a patriotic community effort! 🇺🇸

Thank you to the The Daily Gazette of Schenectady for including Halfmoon’s Wall of Thanks initiative in its recent High Notes section.

This special project invites residents to help build a symbolic “Wall of Thanks” with donated canned goods and nonperishable food items in honor of America’s 250th birthday. Donations will support military veterans and serve as a visible message of Halfmoon’s gratitude for All Who Served.

The Wall of Thanks initiative continues through Halfmoon’s America 250th celebration on July 2. Donation bins and the Wall of Thanks are located at Halfmoon Town Hall.

Please consider supporting this meaningful effort and help us show Halfmoon’s appreciation for our veterans. Your support is greatly appreciated! 🇺🇸

Building even better spaces for our community — one project at a time.

The Town of Halfmoon Parks Department has been hard at work at the Senior Pavilion, recently completing a new deck and now beginning construction on a new flagpole at the pavilion.

These improvements help make the Senior Pavilion an even more welcoming and meaningful gathering place for residents, families, and community events.

A big thank you to our dedicated Parks Department Team for their continued work, craftsmanship, and pride in keeping Halfmoon’s public spaces looking their best!

Small projects make a big difference — and this is another great example of Halfmoon working for our residents.

Talk about fresh from the garden! 🍅🫑

The Halfmoon Community Garden has officially shared its first harvest, and it’s a beautiful reminder of what can grow when neighbors come together.

These fresh tomatoes and peppers were grown right here in Halfmoon and are being shared courtesy of the Halfmoon Community Garden.

A special thank you to everyone who has helped bring this special garden to life: from planting and watering to caring for the space throughout the season. This first harvest is more than just fresh produce — it is a sign of community, teamwork, and the good things that can grow when people work together. 🤝

📣 Tonight’s the Night: Help Shape a Safer, More Connected Halfmoon

What should the future of Halfmoon’s trail network look like? 🥾🌿 Tonight, residents have an opportunity to be part of that crucial community conversation!

The Town of Halfmoon is hosting a Public Workshop TONIGHT on the Crescent Road Trail Feasibility Study, which is exploring a potential multi-use trail connection between the Crescent Road Bike & Pedestrian Path and the Erie Canalway Trail along Old Canal Road.

Halfmoon residents are encouraged to stop by, review the study, ask questions, share local knowledge, and offer feedback on safety concerns, possible trail connections, and community priorities. YOUR input can help shape the plan.
