Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the extraordinary courage of the first responders who ran toward danger when so many were trying to escape.
EMS professionals, firefighters, police officers, dispatchers, and countless others answered the call that morning, providing care, comfort, and hope in the midst of unimaginable devastation. Many made the ultimate sacrifice, and many more carried the physical and emotional effects of that day for years to come.
As we mark 25 years since that tragic day, we remember the victims, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the first responders whose bravery and selflessness continue to inspire us.
Their service, sacrifice, and memory will never be forgotten
