We are honored to welcome Jerry Santos and Kamuela Kimokeo to Waimea Valley for the opening night of our Summer Concert Series on June 27th.
A Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame inductee and legendary songwriter of the iconic group Olomana, Jerry Santos has shaped contemporary mele Hawaiʻi for over five decades. The New York Times said it best.

There is a law in Hawaiʻi's constitution today that was born from a single act of grace over 200 years ago.
Before Kamehameha unified the islands, a moment of humility and accountability led to the Kānāwai Māmalahoe, the Law of the Splintered Paddle. A decree that every elder, every woman, every child, every commoner shall live without fear of harm.
His legacy was never just conquest. It was compassion.
This King Kamehameha Day we invite you to come and feel that mana at Waimea Valley, a wahi pana where his legacy lives in the land. In honor of the day, k**a ʻāina enjoy free admission.

To mālama the land is to mālama each other.
At Waimea Valley, aloha ʻāina is not just a value we speak about. It is something we practice together. Our volunteer days are an invitation to roll up your sleeves, connect with the ʻāina, and become part of the living legacy of stewardship that has always defined this wahi pana.
Whether you are a longtime k**a ʻāina or visiting our shores, there is a place for you here. Come give back to the land that gives so much to all of us.

Some places hold more than beauty. They hold memory, history, and the breath of those who came before.
Waimea Valley is a sacred wahi pana where aloha ʻāina is practiced in every trail walked, every plant cultivated, and every stream that continues to flow through this living valley.
This summer, we invite you to come not simply as a visitor, but as a guest of this place. Move through it with intention, with curiosity, and with an open heart.

Waimea Valley has always been a place where stories are told. On June 27th, Ei Nei brings theirs.
Formed in 2016, this trio from Oʻahu and Maui has built something rare. A sound that is at once deeply rooted in mele Hawaiʻi and unmistakably their own. Rich harmonies, intentional storytelling, and a Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award for Most Promising Artist that was only the beginning. Their music has since reached film, television, and an Emmy Award-winning documentary.
Some artists perform. Ei Nei connects.
Join us in the valley as we kick off our Summer Concert Series, an evening of live music, gathering, and aloha.
