To whom it may concern:

The Chippewa Nation of the Great Lakes has submitted their Letter of Intent for Federal Recognition to Washington DC on August 11, 2011. The United States Government documented the historical findings and protected our inherent right as a tribal government under congressional records, PL.99-346 as the descendants group.
Our aboriginal territory spans from the mouth of the Thunder Bay River in Alpena to the mouth of the Cayuga River in Cleveland Ohio to Fort Wayne Indiana.
We are in the process of setting up our Tribal government, our Constitution, and working with our membership. Individuals can go to: Chippewa Nation on Face book page, if they would like an application they can go to the pictures section and print the application.
If anyone has further questions, they can contact the Grand Council by submitting for more information at P.O. Box 102, Hale, MI 48739.

Submitted on the Behalf of:
Chippewa Nation of the Great Lakes.
