📣Hainesville Residents! Mark Friday, July 24th, Saturday, July 25th AND Sunday, July 26th on your calendar as the dates for our annual village-wide garage sale. The time will be 9 am to 3 pm. each day. You can sign up for all days or for a specific day.

▫️The village will put ads in the local papers (print and online), and social media, so there is no cost to you. Signs will be posted at the entrances to each subdivision.
▫️A list of addresses for all participants will be available at the Village Hall on all three days with a village map.
▫️Arrangements will be made with the Salvation Army to pick up any leftovers the following Monday for anyone who is interested.

A Reminder 📣 Due to the Memorial Day Holiday, all Groot services will be delayed one day. Garbage and recycling pick-up for our single family homes will be on Saturday, May 30th.

The Village of Hainesville will be closed Monday, May 25th for Memorial Day.

Hainesville, in conjunction with SWALCO, will hold a Compost Give-Away Event in the parking lot behind the Hainesville Village Hall on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or until all the compost is gone.

To ensure everyone has a chance to acquire compost, each household will be limited to 20 gallons. Please bring your own pails or buckets. Shovels will be provided. You may return after 2:30 p.m. to acquire additional compost should any be left.
