Summer is here and pools are opening daily!

Now that we have wrapped up May and National Water Safety Month, here is our final Layer of Protection. Our final focus is on Emergency Preparation.

Be ready before an emergency happens:
✔️ Learn CPR
✔️ Keep a phone nearby
✔️ Know your pool’s address
✔️ Have rescue equipment accessible

Quick action can save a life. Being prepared makes all the difference.
Thank you for following along this month—let’s keep water safety a priority all summer long!

Lake Eva Shoreline Project

Starting Monday, June 1, 2026, a portion of the Lake Eva Park walking trail will be temporarily closed due to construction associated with the Lake Eva Shoreline Project. The project will stabilize the Lake Eva shoreline through the installation of a retaining wall and enhanced stormwater drainage, reducing shoreline flooding, limiting erosion, and protecting the beach from ongoing degradation caused by runoff.

Visitors should expect detours during this time. Please refer to the attached map for the designated detour routes. The area highlighted in orange will be closed, while everything highlighted with a green dotted line will remain accessible. The closure is expected to last approximately 30 days. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to enhance the park experience for our community.
