Stage 1 Fire Restrictions go into effect Friday! Please be safe while out recreating!

In coordination with Idaho Department of Lands and Bureau of Land Management - Idaho Twin Falls District, the will be initiating Stage 1 Fire Restrictions on all National Forest System lands within the exterior boundaries of the forest Friday. It is with immense sadness and heavy hearts that we learned of the horrific ambush on our brothers and sisters in the Cour d' Alene area. Our deepest sympathies go out to their families, friends, and every member of the Coeur d'Alene area fire departments and community.

**Structure Fire**

This morning, the Hailey Fire Department, along with BC South Fire District, Bellevue Fire Department, and Sun Valley Fire Department, responded to West Hailey for a structure fire.

Fire was reported to 911 just after 2am. The fire was knocked down around 3am and the fire was called out just before 6am. Hailey Fire is still on scene waiting for investigators from the Idaho State Fire Marshal’s Office to confirm the cause and origin of the fire.

The owners were home and able to evaluate with out injury. The Hailey Volunteer Firefighters Association has uses funds from their “Burn Out” to get the home owners a hotel room until they come up with a plan
