⚠️ Know what may be in the drug supply. Carry Narcan.

We are seeing an uptick in benzodiazepines (“benzos”) in the local drug supply. Substances in the unregulated drug supply can be unpredictable, and people may not always know exactly what they are taking.

You can help protect yourself, your friends, your family, and your community:

💜 Carry Narcan (naloxone).
Narcan can reverse an opioid overdose and may save a life. Because benzodiazepines can be found alongside opioids, carrying Narcan remains an important part of being prepared.

📚 Get trained.
Learn how to recognize the signs of an overdose and how to administer Narcan.

🏥 Stop by the Washington County Health Department to receive free Narcan and overdose response training.

You don't have to be a medical professional to help save a life. Being prepared could make all the difference.
