Western Maryland RC&D Incorporated in 1993, the WMRC&D continues to serve the residents of five counties in MD by addressing their economic, social, and environmental concerns.

The WMRC&D Council was incorporated in 1993 and includes Garrett, Allegany, Washington, Frederick and Carroll counties, Maryland. The Council is locally driven by representatives from the counties Board of Commissioners, Soil Conservation Districts, municipalities, grassroots organizations and interested members at large. HANDS-ON HIGH TUNNEL CONTRUCTION WORKSHOP: To register for the workshop, contact the Garrett County office of the University of Maryland Extension at 301-334-6960. There will be a $25 fee for the workshop which can be paid at the time of the workshop. Lunch will be provided on Saturday.
