🫶Recovery starts with support, understanding, and having someone to walk beside you. Alcohol and Drug Counseling (ADAC), a program of Potomac Community Services, helps individuals and families facing substance use concerns connect with counseling, education, and resources. ADAC takes a holistic approach by recognizing that recovery is not just about one challenge—it can include mental health, relationships, daily stress, coping skills, and overall wellness. Everyone’s journey is different, and asking for help can be an important step toward healing and stability. ADAC provides compassionate support in a safe, respectful space where people can learn, grow, and work toward healthier choices.

If you or someone you care about is struggling with alcohol or drug use, Potomac Community Services is here to help through ADAC. Support is available, and change is possible. 🌱

šŸ˜”Sometimes life has no rhyme or reason—and neither does what someone may be silently carrying. That’s why mental health matters so much. Struggles don’t always show up neatly, and pain doesn’t always come with a clear reason. Sometimes people are fighting battles behind a smile, behind silence, or behind simply saying, ā€œI’m fine.ā€ So let’s be kind. Check on the people you love. Give grace when someone seems distant. And if you’re the one struggling, please know this: you don’t have to make perfect sense to deserve support.

If you’re struggling, you’re not alone—and you don’t need a perfect explanation to deserve support. Potomac Community Services is here to remind you that mental health matters, support is available, and your mind deserves care. Take care of your mind the same way you would care for anything precious—because it is. šŸ’™
