The commissioners had a tough choice to make today between two highly qualified people. No matter who they chose, it was going to be a good day for our kids' education.

I am grateful for all of the support I have received over the past couple of months and I look forward to serving our incredible county.

The Washington County Board of Commissioners unanimously voted Tuesday to appoint financial adviser and former teacher Darrell Evans to the vacant Washington County Board of Education seat.
