Democratic Women of Washington County Maryland We are Democratic Women of all ages from Washington County, but we welcome visitors from other areas. Encourage women to make use of their privilege to vote.

We discuss local, state, and national events and concerns and through networking keep our member up-to-date on events of interest in the area. The aim of this group is to bring together women of similar values to:
1. Provide support for and awareness of issues of importance to women.
3. Support the nominees of the Maryland Democratic Party in partisan elections to promote Democratic ideals.

I would like to thank the members of the United Democrats of Washington County for electing me as president for the next two years. Work with me and we can make a difference. Next meeting: February 15 (7:00 PM) at the Hagerstown Library on Potomac Street. Members only. Memberships can be renewed at the door. Just a reminder that Thursday is the meeting in Frederick for reproductive rights sponsored by the women’s democratic league. The leader of Planned Parenthood will be there to suggest things we can do to help our sisters in other states. If anyone is interested in going with Kate and I You can give us a call or a message.
