Allied Trade Specialists for the supervise the , repair, and modification of metallic and nonmetallic parts to ensure the Army’s equipment is operating reliably. While serving as a , you will operate lathes, drilling presses, grinders, welding machines, and other machine shop equipment.

During Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, you will train selecting the materials, tools and equipment to do the job, and learn how to operate fabrication machines while gaining skills in maintenance and repairs, welding and power tool operations, and fabrication machine operations. You will also be eligible for 143 nationally recognized available.
