VISION STATEMENT The overriding concept governing the Town of Day Comprehensive Plan is the Vision Statement formulated by the Comprehensive Plan Committee having taken into account input from the Citizen Questionnaire Survey and public information meetings.

Town Hall and Highway garage will be closed Monday September 7th for Labor Day! Garbage pickup will be Tuesday the 8th North side and the 9th South side.

Here’s the yearly meeting schedule for planning board, town board and the zoning board. Special meetings are set throughout the year as they are needed. If meetings are cancelled it will be posted on the towns website under agendas.

Large garbage pickup will be Monday August 31, 2026. Picking up once. Must be roadside by 7:00am. No tires or construction debris. Refrigerators containing Freon will not be picked up.

As some of you may have heard, a resident/town employee had a house fire this morning and lost everything. Anyone who can donate gift cards/money can drop it off today and tomorrow 9:00am-3:00pm, Friday 12:00-6:00pm at the Town Hall. We also can arrange a different day/time if need be. Call 518-696-3789 ext. 1 or ext. 2. Let’s come together and help this family out!!!
