Earlier today we were dispatched for an animal rescue on Kings Highway. Upon arrival, crews discovered multiple ducklings stuck in a storm drain. We were able to safely rescue seven ducklings. 🐥

Crews have been busy this week training new drivers and reviewing recent changes to the hose loads on our engine. Constant training helps our drivers stay proficient in their skills while introducing new drivers to the basics of pumping.

This week we are hosting local elementary schools to teach fire prevention tips and show them around the fire house. Today, it was the kindergarten class from Central School. Thanks for stopping by!

Tonight we took several members out to continue their driver’s training. Tonight’s focus was water supply, and getting familiar with how the pump panel operates flowing multiple lines.
