Hot temperatures continue with above average values expected. Rain chances will increase as we go later in the week. Not very high chances (20-40%), but any rain chances would favor northern and western Panhandles.

*UPDATE*

⚠️ ROADWAY FLOODING UPDATE ⚠️

We’ve had several people ask where the incident shown in our earlier post was located.

Reports were in the area of US Highway 64 and Mile 13 Road in Texas County.

Our earlier post was intended as a general advisory because we were seeing water over roadways in multiple areas of the county, but we should have been clear on locations impacted at that time.

As a reminder:
Please keep in mind that conditions can change quickly, and there may be other flooded or water-covered roads that have not been reported.

Thank you to everyone helping us keep an eye on conditions across the county. 🌧️🚧

⚠️ ROADWAY FLOODING ADVISORY ⚠️

Please be advised that with the rain received thus far, parts of Highway 64 and other roadways throughout Texas County are experiencing water over the roadway and/or flooding.

Please use extreme caution if you must travel. Never drive through flooded roadways—water may be deeper than it appears, and road conditions underneath may be compromised.

Turn Around, Don’t Drown! 🌧️🚧
