‼️Please be aware of some SCAM text messages some local folks recently received‼️
🚫Don’t click on links or QR codes in these messages. Protect you and your personal information.
👀 Be suspicious & look for mistakes in the message (ex. St. Louis County is in Missouri, not Oklahoma; the location of an Oklahoma Court will not be in a different State; pay attention to emails that may not appear correctly); Google to determine legitimacy of the court, judge, towns, county, etc.
⚖️ Most courts will not send text messages or emails for non-payment or failure to appear. In those cases you would probably receive a letter by mail or receive a visit from a Sheriff’s Deputy.
